Life on the Q-List
Los Angeles October 14 - 17
The Reaching Out LGBT MBA Conference offers an assortment of workshops, panels, and social events designed to help MBA students and professionals connect with one another and develop new skills for use in school, in the workplace, and in the community.
We hope to see you in Los Angeles this October! Read on for information about our programming.
Our keynotes are drawn from the leading voices in LGBT business, popular culture and public affairs. You will hear from visionaries who are shaping the movement for LGBT equality in the workplace and in society at large. Information on our keynotes can be found at www.reachingoutmba.org/conference_info/keynotes/
Start building your career as a LGBT professional by attending our Friday morning career panels and Friday afternoon Career Expo. You can consult the list of Career Expo companies at www.reachingoutmba.org/conference_info/career_expo/.
Our Saturday morning special interest panels engage you in dialogue about important issues facing the LGBT community, such as corporate social responsibility, LGBT legal issues, and transgendered rights. You will meet panel speakers who are driving positive change, whether on a local, national or global basis.
Our competitions represent the academic portion of the conference, with cash prizes available. More information can be found at www.reachingoutmba.org/conference_info/competitions/
Give back to our hosts in the Los Angeles community while gaining experience in non-profit consulting. Student teams will provide recommendations to local non-profits in areas such as fundraising strategy, programming, and organizational structure.
Not to be missed, Reaching Out's cocktail hours, receptions, and formal meals are a great way to build lasting relationships with your LGBT peers. We also host events for specific groups, including our Women's Reception, Diversity Reception and Alumni Reception.
