Reaching Out is more than ROMBA! For more than 20 years, Reaching Out has grown to include a range of events that educate, inspire, and connect an increasingly diverse LGBTQ+ MBA community. Club Leadership Summit

Date April 5, 2025 Location Austin, TX

Dozens of student leaders from business school LGBTQ+ clubs gather to exchange ideas on fundraising, working with other affinity groups and alumni, and more!

Finance Trek: New York City

Date June 9-10, 2025 Location New York City, NY

Working in finance can be a lucrative career with many different paths to success. Whether the interest lies in investment banking, risk management, or one of the many other areas in finance, this trek is a great place for admitted MBAs to increase their understanding of the opportunities that one can pursue.

Consulting Trek: Chicago

Date June 16-17, 2025 Location Chicago, IL

Is a career in consulting right for you? What sorts of skills make for a good consultant? This trek is designed as a learning and networking opportunity for admitted MBAs to understand the world of consulting. Participants will hear from a number of consultants and leave with the knowledge of differences between major firms, what opportunities there are to join the workforce, and an understanding of real-life expectations in this exciting industry.

Boston Trek

Date July 14-15, 2025 Location Boston, MA

Designed for admitted MBAs, this trek will give you a snapshot of culture and career from several industries including healthcare, consulting, and more.

Prospective MBA Admissions Summit

Are you a member or ally of the LGBTQ+ community and thinking about pursuing an MBA? Join us for ROMBA’s virtual Prospective MBA Admissions Summit and Expo which includes a networking session with current LGBTQ+ MBA students & allies, panels with school admissions officers, and a Business School Expo with 60+ MBA programs.

ROMBA Conference 2025

Date September 25-27, 2025 Location New Orleans, LA

The ROMBA conference is the world’s largest gathering of LGBTQ+ business students and alumni. The event educates, inspires, and connects our community through C-suite panels, workshops, competitions, a host of receptions, and a career fair with dozens of corporate partners across industries recruiting MBA talent.
