Learn more about IRIS here. Registrants will get a 20% discount if they register for both conferences.

Is PRIZM a separate conference?

PRIZM will not be a separate conference this year. Alongside the 2025 ROMBA Conference, we are offering the PRIZM Experience, tailored specifically for LGBTQ+* professionals, including MBA alumni, looking to explore the next phase of their careers. Participants enjoy full access to ROMBA’s flagship offerings while connecting with our PRIZM corporate partners and other like-minded professionals.

Will there be PRIZM-only sessions available this year?

Yes, we are working on a few sessions that will only be offered to PRIZM Experience attendees and will be added to the agenda in the coming weeks. Stay tuned for more information.

I can no longer attend the conference and I need to cancel my registration. What should I do?

Ticket refunds, minus the $50 processing fee, will be available by request (at info@reachingoutmba.org) until Friday August 29th, 2025. Please include REFUND REQUEST as the email title.

After that, any canceled/forfeited fees will be considered a donation to the ongoing work of Reaching Out MBA.

Can allies attend the ROMBA Conference & PRIZM Experience?

At Reaching Out MBA, we’ve always embraced the power of allyship—and that commitment remains strong. Allies are always welcome at our events and programs and your presence can help strengthen the impact of our mission. In fact, we intentionally include allies in our definition of LGBTQ+. Reaching Out MBA uses the “+” as part of LGBTQ to intentionally embrace all individuals who are working towards building communities of inclusion, respect, and belonging, including allies of the LGBTQ community and those who are not fully represented by the letters LGBTQ.

What is the conference attire?

The recommended ROMBA Conference attire is “business casual authentic” – you are welcome to wear whatever business casual clothing is the most authentic to your identity. Jeans are fine, and suits/blazers certainly aren’t required. Most people tend to dress a bit more formally for the major events, which will be announced soon.

What meals will be provided to attendees during the conference?

Meals will be available to those with a full conference registration at all major plenary sessions. More details will be shared in the coming weeks. Stay tuned!

I want to attend ROMBA but I also want to attend the National Black MBA Conference. Is it possible to attend both conferences?

While this year’s ROMBA Conference overlaps with the 2025 National Black MBA Association Conference, there is an opportunity for you to attend both and make the most out of connecting with the community and recruiters, given the close proximity between Houston and New Orleans! Learn more about how you can attend both conferences here.
