Reaching Out MBA Constituent Code of Conduct
As a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating, inspiring, and connecting the LGBTQ+ MBA community, it is our policy to uphold the highest legal and ethical standards in our conduct. The Reaching Out MBA community includes students and prospective students, alumni and other professionals, corporate partners, academic partners, our Board of Directors, and Staff – collectively known as constituents.
Compliance with this Code of Conduct is the responsibility of every Reaching Out MBA constituent. Disregarding or failing to comply with this Code of Conduct could lead to removal from an event and any future events and/or terminating an individual’s involvement with Reaching Out MBA. If you experience or observe any concerns, please contact the Executive Director as soon as possible so we can address and remedy any violation of this Code of Conduct.
Examples of unacceptable conduct in connection with attending a Reaching Out MBA event or representing the organization include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Violence, threats of violence, or any other actions or conduct that threatens the safety, health, or well-being of oneself or others.
- Engaging in illegal conduct, soliciting persons for such purposes, or aiding and/or abetting same.
- Engaging in any act of discourteous conduct, the use of abusive language or hate speech, rudeness, or similar acts.
